University- Escola Superior de Comunicação Social

After I finish my High School, I decided to take a Marketing and Advertising degree at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, because it has both things that are often not reconcilable, the creativity in Advertising, and the math and logic in Marketing.

I also have a big interest in how our mind works and how we can easily be persuaded, although, this word, when used, sometimes has negative connotations, I deeply believe that through advertising it is possible to improve and influence in a very positive way the standards of society, making it more and more developed, from taking anti-prejudice positions to alert to the environment conditions

Erasmus

On my 4th semester of university I went to study abroad in Belgium.

I studied Communication Management at Thomas More Homeschool, in Mechelen.

I underwent tremendous personal growth. Immersed in a new cultural setting, I navigated unfamiliar environments and embraced diverse perspectives. The challenges I faced, such as language barriers and adapting to a different educational system, helped me develop resilience and adaptability. Through interactions with international classmates and local students, I enhanced my intercultural communication skills and expanded my global network. Exploring Belgium’s rich history and vibrant cities, I gained a broader understanding of the world. I will do my 4rd semester at the University La Sapienza, Rome, and do my last semester in Portugal.

These fields offer a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape that combines creativity, analytical thinking, and strategic planning. By studying marketing and advertising, I aim to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to create impactful campaigns, build strong brands, and connect with audiences in innovative ways.

I imagine myself working to an international company. I pretend to live in a foreign country in Europe for a few years and after I would like to go back to Portugal, my home country.

I believe I am a creative worker that can find innovative solutions for problems, I am determined, good team worker, attentive to details and I’m good adapting to new situations.

Some of my weaknesses are time management, struggling at making decisions and public speaking.

I definitely want to work in a company that aligns their values with mine. A company that values gender equality, sustainability, ethically correct and social responsible.
